That's 190k too many. Not worth it, unless it's close to free. Too much risk in costly repair.

All depends on maintenance and how the PO drove it.

If they drove the **** out of the car, and treated it like a Formula 1 car, it could only have 50,000 miles on it, and be completely ruined.

On the other hand, if the car was babied, and maintained properly, it could have 250,000 miles on it, and be totally reliable.

^what he said. Take it for a test drive, most existing issues will be revealed. For suspension, if test driving, I like to hit up a parking lot and do some figure eights with the windows rolled down for any odd noises. Check the wear on the tires too, this could be indicative of worn suspension components. Also, make sure the engine isn't already warmed up, IIRC the 6th gens are prone to worn timing chain tensioners which will make noise when started cold.

Like others said, if there isn't a lot of maintenance history I'd hope you're getting it for a very good price because I'd anticipate costly repairs down the road.

Pretty much what everyone else said.
If low enough price and your willing to put up with or pay for repairs then could be a deal. See if they have any records of parts replaced/repairs.

How much are they asking?

me personally i would stay away from anything above 100xxx and that still a risk unless you know someone that take good care of the car.But if you want to chance it you can get anything above 100xxx to 150xxx depend on the price and i would recommend a tune up after buying any used car,its how well the previous owner took care of the car.

get it for a good price and throw in a low mileage motor/tranny and update the suspension and the car will be close to new. make sure it has no rust though.

I think everybody has pretty much told you everything so far. Now, give us some more details just to feed us with more info.

How much are they asking for the car?
How much are you willing or thinking about paying for the car, based on asking price?
By chance, did you take some pics of the car that you can share with us?

Any other info you can share?
