The overhead console on my 1994 Maxima came out and I cannot seem to fix it. The dealer suggested I try this site for help. I have the spring but cannot seem to figure it out.

someone else posted something similar a couple days ago...also in the 6th gen section...maybe their issue has been resolved as well?

 

this is one of those things that nobody can really help you out with unless they post pictures of assembly/dis-assembly.

its pretty simple to figure out, but it is a pain in the butt no matter who you are. that spring needs to be coiled before it goes in if that helps.
