no rub cause your tires are narrower compared to stock SE 245/45/18

It might seem like a good idea to change the springs and not the shocks/struts but by doing that you'll actually be reducing the actual life span of the stock shocks/struts. The KYB GR-2 are very cheap on ebay and you have a piece of mind that you won't have to go back under there to replace your shocks/struts and/or get another wheel allignment after you lower it.

I have the Canuck lowering springs 1.5" front and 0.5" rear and it supports my application for my 22's, 18's and my 17's snow. I don't have to worry about the lowering when I switch wheels

Ok I see. You won't feel any major hangling by just adding a strut tower bar, well I don't. Unless your car is slammed, you have front and rear sway bars and a rear upper strut tower bar that's the only way I can see any improvement in the handling. Our cars are just too big. But it does look really cool though...

The Eibachs are a good drop because it doesn't drop too low in the rear which will cause rubbing. On the 6thgens the rear is naturally lower than the fromt so it will take that stress away. I have the Canuck 1.5" front and 0.5 rear is perfect for "me" I have 350Z wheels with with snow tires, can't remember the size but it fills the gap pretty good.

Don't lower your car and not get a camber kit before you do an allignment. Don't believe guys when they say they lowered their cars and didn't do a camber and their tires don't have camber wear. You may not see it with a naked eye but it's definitely recommended or you'll be changing tires yearly. I could be wrong but a 225/55R17 is equivelant to a 245/45R17 and you should be fine on stock 17's

I don't have any pics with my application because I bought them this year during the spring and my car is at the mechanics getting another motor swap. Blew it again

There's a right and wrong way to do things and putting coilovers on a 6thgen is wrong

thats false.....my previous 4th gen had the same k-sports for 3 years before they blew

my last 5.5 gen had used jic coils for 2 years and before i sold the car they still rode like a champ and my current 4th gen has had BC coilovers for 2 years ...smooth as butter over here

and i drive my cars daily ......soooooooooooooooo

the reason coilovers blow quick is because people make the mistake of wanting to slam the car as low as possible and make them as stiff as possible.....

Understand what I'm trying to say. Regular coilovers (not the real coilovers with dampeners) on a 6thgen is a no no. A 4thgen and 5.5gen is way lighter than a 6thgen. The reason people put coilovers on their cars is because they have intenstions of slamming it and it's cheap. If you don't intend to slam your car why use coilovers it in the first place. Coilovers are suspension killers in disguise.

I use to be that guy who said coilovers are good because you can adjust them in the winter but when you raise it you offset the camber which will result in tire wear, so to prevent that you'd have to do an allignment evey time you lower or raise the car to suit the application. Get a comfortable straight drop according to your rim size and application and don't worry about touching it again.

WOW! Strong opinion here!! Been sitting on BCs for a while love the ride and adjustability. Have you actually tried any coilovers yourself?

I agree when it comes to pillow-ball mounts and city driving. If you live out in the burbs then CO's will be fine on a DD. CO's ARE made for the track so they are pretty damn strong. Dont get a pillowball mount and they should never break down
