3m di-noc carbon fiber wrap...on the engine cover??

So lets say I have a wild hair for carbon fiber and I have the idea to wrap my engine cover...

Has anyone ever tried this? I am sure it will stick, and with patience and a blowdrier look nice, but I dont know about the engine heat making it bubble and look crappy. Thoughts?

The type of wrap I have is di-noc carbon fiber 3m.
