07 maxima trans

07 maxima trans

Ive just read the trans thread so not sure if i should take action bought a 2007 maxima se with 110,000 .. Trans was replaced by the dealer at 75,000 two years ago .. Do i have a transmisson thats is going to give me problems ?? What should or shouldn't I do to keep the trans running good ... Only issue I have at about 25 to 30 mph the car seems to be sluggish not sure if that's normal??? how do I pull the transmission codes I don't have any check engine lights on .?? ..thanks

You could always go to your local auto store such as O'Reilly's. They can check to see if there is any codes. Free of charge.

My tranny fluid is a light Brown color doesn't smell burned looks almost new ..what color should the fluid be ??

The original color is a clear liquid with a green tint.

Man you have a CVT tranny the thread is only for the 04-06 model cars .

Yes but 07-08 went to the CVT trans,,,,,04 -05 -06 have 5 speeds.

Its possible the trans shop used a different brand of cvt fluid instead of the Nissan brand. I know Valvoline sells their own for a lot cheaper than Nissan's. The fluid might be good.
