i have an 05 sl the wierd thing is i have the buttons for nav like the map route button and i dont have navigation installed on the car. i dont know how to change the time and get to the bass, treble, settings on the radio if u guys can help that would be great

Are you absolutely sure you dont have navigation? I'm so sorry, just have to ask that question... I was hoping/thinking maybe you have navigation but dont have the navigation disc in your Nav unit so when you do press Nav nothing pops up. I mean, that's the only thing I can possibly think of, I've never heard of this before.

You don't have navigation. The button console is from a car with navigation. You have the map and route buttons but they don't do anything. You need to swap out that button console with the one from a car which has no navigation. If you recently bought the car and you got charged extra because "navigation" go and get some money back.

Its possible that button console to blame. I would get the right button console and see if that fixes your problem. Since you mentioned the car was in a flood, there could be damage to the headunit. Fix the obvious if the radio problem not solved, then go test the connectors to make sure the head unit actually gets power ect. Check all fuses and replace if any blown ect ect...
