Power window problem

Just replaced the window regulator and tested it before I connected it to the glass. Everything was working fine until I connected the regulator to glass and now it does nothing when I attempt to roll it up. I had no problem rolling it down though.

Could the motor just be too weak to push the window up when it has the weight of the glass to deal with?

There is an actual reset procedure for the window motor itself. Maybe that was never done. Try and do the reset and re-assemble, and see if that helps.
