The very first car to wreck shows a 6th gen Maxima. He punched it to try to get out of the way of the car behind him. VQ kicked in yo!!!!!! And then not seconds after he gets rear ended he lights one up hahaha.

I had my Maxima in snow once in the mountains east of San Diego. Never again will I attempt that. I had Michelin Pilot sport A/S (always suck) and that thing road like crap. Sport mode 1st and 2nd gear down out of the mountains.

Pilot Sport A/S are great in the snow. As good as just about any other tire out there other than dedicated snows.

Mine are worn past the wear bars and still getting me around in the New England winters.

Most winter driving problems are due to the drivers

My thoughts exactly, I was out shopping yesterday and as I was walking back to my car I counted about 7 cars that were in dire need of some new tires. One 96 Maxima I saw had front tires that were worn down to the steel threads.

I can tell from the vid that those roads arent salted though, which would be a challenge for anyone, here we have them salted prior to the snow even hitting, stuff like this would never happen on a road that busy but this was probably in an area that never gets any snow.

Problem exists between the right foot and the driver.

Vid states Minnesota. Seems as if they should be familiar with it.

Hell, I live in NM and I had dedicated snows on the Maxima before I got the Pathfinder.

Need one of these on your tires:

Really, says who? I didnt get stuck in the record breaking snow storm that hit Boston and I was using my Michellin Pilot sports with 50k on them. I felt the need for a Limited Slip Differential more than snow tires.

Uhmm most people I know into cars at least have a dedicated set of snow tires. They're worlds apart from any all season tire period. Source? I've personally worked in tire warehouse's before and have driven myself in snow with ****ty tires. Never again. Even cars with AWD i.e Evo or wrx are crap in the snow without proper tires.

My last Maxima didn't have all seasons. When I moved from San Diego to wintery Montana, WOW! Handling really sucked! You creep around a corner like 5 mph and you still slide into curbs. Turned the lease back in and got a 4x4. Here I am 4 years later and I got another Maxima, they get in your blood. Got a good set of Michelin all seasons, so far so good, survived the last snow.

OK... I know this might start a fight here but there is no such thing as all season tires people... if you live in the north you MUST have winter tires... the rubber compound that the snow tire is made of is completely different... stays softer at lower temperatures... do a research... same reason as there are no all season shoes that you buy, you have summer shoes and then winter boots...
