Personally I think you had a winner either way. The old rims weren't too over the top chrome, but your car is bad *** both ways.

Roof wing I git it on eBay years ago.

Lip sticks out maybe an inch from the fender.

I like it, however not feeling the purple. My favorite color, just doesn't match anything else on the cars exterior. Nicely done though. If I get a few minutes, I will photo shop some other colors for you. I think blue would have been pretty hot or even a green. Darker purple might have been dope too. This looks a pit more toward a pink color.
