2004 Maxima SL Headlight Issue *Pic Inside*

I lost the metal paper clip looking piece that locks the headlight into place and nissan wants me to buy a whole new assembly for $950. Is there anywhere else I can find it I also need a new ballast my mechanic determined the light is fine just the ballast is gone.

LOL have some patience. It sounds like you're talking about the bulb holder. Your best bet is to contact theretrofitsource, tell them you have Maxima E55 projectors and that you lost the bulb clip. Best case, they have damaged projectors and you get one for cheap. Worst case, you have to pay for a new projector (should be under $100). They also have ballasts, ask them for a Matsush!ta Gen III or Gen IV ballast.
