Need some opinions . I had coastguard warranty and dealer put a new transmission in my 04 maxima because it keep jerking going into gear and staying in 5th gear . I had 73000 miles at that point , now I'm at 86000 miles and the remanufactured tranny they put in there is going the same thing . Dealer called Nissan and they said it only had a 12 month warranty in the tranny the put in . They told the dealership that if the valve body doesn't have a lot of metal in it , to just replace the valve body . Dealer told me parts and labor is 1625. . Don't know what to Do . Any ideas ?

 

Its called a stealership for a reason...get a 2nd op from a indy Nissan shop...
