had my valve body replaced last friday and the difference is like night and day. shifts are a lot smoother havent had any bangs when shifting from 1st to 2nd or 2nd to 1st. take offs are smooth i can barely feel the tranny shifting compared to before where my head would jerk back and forth when the gears would slam into place. i was hesitating to do it but my transmission guy convinced me, he said he had replaced these before and after the cars run fine. so replacing the valve body was worth it in my case.
