No bright lights!

I took out aftermarket HID kit and went back to halogen bulbs. I used 9006 bulbs and now I don't have bright lights

You know of course there is no bright light bulb, only a shutter that moves to reveal more of the pattern on the single bulb.

Did you disconnect the wire to this shutter when replacing the bulb?

The OEM halogen bulbs aren't 9006, they are 9012, also referred to as HIR2.

But the shutter should still open or close regarless if there is a bulb or not.

We have to see which wire you are talking about. There are very few wires inside the headlight, so it should be obvious where it goes. If it's for the high-beam solenoid and it came off the projector, it might be a little hard to get back on. Please take a picture and show us.
