SRS light blinking

Hi,

So I have reset the blinking SRS light a few times and it keeps coming on. Now what? What is the next step to diagnose the problem? The code its throws is just steady blinks.

I don't want to go to the stealer ship and get ripped off when its most likely something minor.

Any advice?

Go to autozone, they will scan your code for free! Then tell us what the code is.

I went to Autozone. They do not pull codes related to SRS (supplemental restraint system, i.e., airbags and seatbelts tensioners).

i got the first code on page 35, basically says to go to procedure 2 and 3. Kinda confusing though because 2 says driver airbag open and 3 says the code needs to be reset by consult. maybe i'm confused???

What do you guys think?

youre going to need a bigger/better scanner. this happened to me about 6 months ago. its hard to narrow down. basically it came back as anythig on the driver side lost communication. i got lucky and did an insurance claim since i have great coverage. infiniti ended up replacing the driver side airbag, clock spring and maybe a module about $2000 from the dealer but i paid $100 deducitble.
