As everyone else said the KYB GR-2 are your best bang for your buck if she wants to stay stock. Everyone likes these with either Canuck lowering springs or if you want something a little lower the Eibach

Ok, well, I'll bite. At least this one is not a pole on what breaks to get.

KYB struts will be more firm than stock (nothing crazy, but noticeable), so just be advised of that when making your decision. If you want a softer ride that is as close to stock as possible, go with a set of Monroe's.

I tried a set of kyb, were fine, and now I replaced those with monroes sensatrac because I though the kyb were defective. They were not, so I replaced for no reason, but honestly, both are fine. the kybs are a bit stiffer than OEM, monroe is more like oem. I prefer the oem ride.

i just got my second set of kyb gr2/ excel. unforturnately we dont have many options besides those and the monroes. there used to be a company to custom make agxs but not anymore. i just got my new gr2/excels for $212 shipped off ebay. even with my commerical account local stores were about $240. i have 60k+ miles on my current gr2s with eibach springs

they hold up fine but match them with a progress sway bar and strut bars its a good ride and handling besides if you are sitting in the back you might get bounced around. stock ride hieght im not sure

www.justsuspension.com KYB GR2/Excel like everyone else said, they seem to be the best price, and usually you can google a coupon code too :-)

I had Monroe Sensa Tracs and really liked them better than the OEMs.

Just don't get KYB dust boots for them. After my experience with those, I would think twice about getting anything made by that brand.

I bought a set of Monroe OEspectrum for both my fathers A34 and my L31. I used coupon codes from Advance Auto and paid around $160-180.
