2006 Maxima overheating

Hello everyone, I have recently been having a problem with my 2006 Maxima overheating. The coolant level appears to be ok, and I do not think it is the water pump. The car is fine when I am moving, but anytime I stop for awhile or idle the heat jumps up fast. I did notice that the radiator fans are not turning on at all. I think I have narrowed it down to the fuses being bad or the thermostat going out. I know where the fuses are, but I cannot figure out how to pull them out :-( Does the whole green thing come out or do you have to open the clear plastic door and pull them out individually? For some reason, I cannot seem to open the door. If that it not it, where is the thermostat, and what is the procedure for pulling it? Thanks, Doug.

Problem solved. It ended up being the fusible link that controls the electric fans and the ingnition switch. Removed and replaced, no more overheating.

I had this issue about 3 weeks ago. I added antifreeze to the reservoir and the issue disappeared. So, now I wonder if these's a problem with the fuse link? Maybe I should pickup the part. What 's the part number & cost?
