Hello, please someone help me... I have a 2004 nissan maxima se 3.5 my car today wouldnt go pass 40 mph and the other rpm was stuck on 2, when i would get to a stop sign or red light and had to break it wouldnt go pass 20mph and get stuck in two again until finallly it would take off.

I took it to a mechanic and the computer showed the following: Turbine revolutin sensor circuit

do you think this is correct???? Or could it also be the valve box like some other people have told me??? What is the code on a computer for a valve box???

Please help... Going crazy....

 

What exactly was the error code. By Turbine revolution sensor I guess it refers to the speed or rev sensor. If so the part number is 31935-8Y000. See

The symptoms you're having is not that of a valve body dysfunction.
