I'm driving and the brake light and battery light come on..so I hear its the alternator going bad so I had it rebuilt and its still doing the same thing...I got stranded I gave the car gas and still wouldnt move..so I checked the negative cable that connects to the transmission and its fine...what else should I do

 

Other than the alternator rebuild may not be working, check fuse # 26. Fuse 26 is a 10 amp fuse under the hood by the battery.
