07 Maxima cvt problem

when the engine is cold and I go forward I get what feels like a trans or cv axle shutter. it feels like a small knock but it only happens going forward from a stop for a few blocks, then disappears. It only happens going forward not in reverse.Other than this problem the trans shifts perfect. My daughter bought the car in 09 and I took it from her in 2012. She got a letter from Nissan giving her a 100000 warranty. It only has 63k.
Any input is welcome.

Well, the stutter could also be suspension. That said, if you think it is the CVT, then take it to the dealer and have it dealt with.

And while you are there, have the CVT fluid changed out if you want your warranty to be recognized by Nissan. The first maintenance interval for changing out the fluid is 60k.

I'll have the suspension checked. I would think it be doing it all the time if it was
