Tire sizes

Any suggestions as to running other than the 225/55/17 tires that are spec'd on the '06 Maxima SL?

245/45/18, or go to a bigger rim and lower profile tire.

This is a very vague question. It is like me asking "any suggestion on what to eat for dinner tonight besides meatloaf?". You can put any size rim and tire you want on your car. It will either work or not work depending on your setup. I think a better question is what do you guys recommend 18in rims, or 19in rims? or does anyone know if this wheel ____ will fit my max without modification. Have to be more specific in your questions, none of us can read your mind. We want to be as helpful as possible.

I have seen 17 in up to 26in wheels put on this model maxima. I personnally have 20in wheels. Next will be coilovers to lower the front for me to get that even look. Sticking with 20's. Had 19's they looked too small. 22's look perfect without lowering, however are a rougher ride IMO.
