Driver HID headlight not working. Help please

This is an 05 Maxima. The driver HID headlight is not working. I have checked all fuses for the headlights, The bulb is tested and known good, all other lights in the headlamp fixture work, the shutter operates, and the passenger side works fine. What am I missing? Is their something else to check/test?

Thanks everybody.

Switching bulbs with passenger side and problem stays with driver? Swap ballasts over if you can, see if it follows ballast or stays

Friend had similar problem (before removing bulb).

Once they remove bumper and headlight, the bulb almost fell to the ground - was loose.

Tech slid bulb back into position and bingo! Hope that's your fix.

Problem solved/fixed

Just thought I would update y'all on my headlight. So the driver would not work and like I said, the bulb was tested good. So I took the passenger headlight and plug it up on the drivers side and guess what, it worked. So I took the driver headlight assembly and plug it up on the passenger side and guess what, it worked!! So at this point Im like, "what the hell!!" So I take the driver headlight back to the driver side and plug it back up and guess what, it freaking worked!! My wife and I were like "thank God!!" We have been pulled over 4 times over the headlight being out. I think the problem was in the plug. May have been some trash or dirt in it but more than likely it was the plug itself. It has a suspect looking place in it around one of the little pins in it and a small busted spot on the outside of the plug. Car was wrecked once on this side of the car. I'll have to keep an eye on it and if it gives me any more trouble I may have to change that plug.

great stuff.
I am doing a HID conversion with the new evox-R, mutsu****a V ballasts and osram xenarc CBI bulbs as soon as the weather allows it.

Will report.

600$ upgrade, hope it is worth it. My OEM stock hid setup sucks so much it's a shame. replaced bulbs a few years ago with some OEM GE but it still sucks.

will also polish and clearcoat the housing.

With my retfrofits and experience with hid matshutsita ballasts would cut off on me from time to
Becuse of moisture and if the ballaSts feel like there is something wrong they will shut off to prevent more damage

glad that's the fix... just like I hoped it was in the connectivity between bulb and ballast.....
