Hi All,

Alright I just bought a 2007 Nissan maxima with 57k miles. I have been searching everywhere for some fixes to my problem but can't seem to find any information so I came here to ask for help.

My maxima had a orange LCD screen above the radio that shows trip length, fuel economy, distance to empty and the temperature. And above that screen is another LCD that is supposed to show climate control settings like if it's blowing on your feet, face and fan speed.

So the problem I'm having is that the LCD above the radio doesn't show my trip info or distance to empty or average speed it keeps searching for it I think because the lines keeps going like it's trying to calculate it but never does. Also the ambient temperature shows 0F.

The second problem is the climate control LCD screen, it is blank like its dead. So is there anyway to test this LCD. Could it be dead or is it not working because ur LCD below it is having issues calculating trip info, speed and so on?

Is there any fuses associated with these 2 screens or is the screen not communication with the computer? I was thinking to take apart the whole radio today and check it's connections.

I opened up the radio and LCD units and found out that somone connected them wrong. The climate control LCD and the trip information LCD use similar cable connectors, so they were mixed up. Everything works great now.

Does anyone know how to reset the TPS sensor? I put 35 all around and it's still on.

 

What do you mean you opened up the radio and LCD units. I have the exact problem with my 2007 SL Maxima I've been searching for awhile trying to figure out how I can get my Climate Control screen to turn on and see my trip info Help.
