For the '05 3.5 SE 6sp manual, how quickly should the idle, after turning the key, settle in to about 750 rpms. It seems it drops very slowly to that point. Usually I am pulling away at about 1000 and at the next stop sign it has settled to normal idle. I imagine in colder weather the idle may remain high a lot longer. Thanks for any advice.
