Can I install Factory GPS screen

I have a 2008 Maxima SL with the basic orange screen...
If I buy the factory bezel unit and the GPS screen, will it be 'plug and play'?
In other words, are the correct connections inside the dash that will make it fully functional?

Good question

I will be looking for an answer to your question. I have been thinking about doing the same to my 2007 SE.

I don't know the details, but I'd venture to guess it is not cost effective, even if you get it from a junker. I recall a topic like this many moons ago, something like $1700-$2000 if you wanted all the parts new. Of course from a junker you can't be sure it's working until you put it all together. I think the end result was to put in an aftermarket NAV/radio and call it a day.
