Just picked up a 2007 Maxima.

I want to add a STOCK navigation system to it. As of now it just has the Bose CD changer.

Couple questions.

1. What year Navigation unit do I have to pull from a Maxima.

2. Is it a direct bolt on, and do the harnesses work without any modifications?

3. What exactly do I have to grab for it to work? Is it just the Screen itself, or do I need to pull some other devices, antenna, or anything else.

Again, I want the STOCK nav unit to put into my stock 2007 Maxima.

This has been discussed before as I recall, it's too expensive to justify. Like $2000 as I recall. You can get an after market setup and have a far better more useful system then the stock 07. I have the stock 07 NAV, and it's just ok, even with the updated DVD, it's no bells and whistles, and not worth that kind of cost to install.

Hey did u get any answers on how to change it with aftermarket products? I'm trying to post my own thread (just joined 5 mins ago) and I can't seem to be able to do it
