Auto head lamp issue

As of yesterday my auto headlight feature on my 2005 Maxima stopped working. I now have to turn my headlights off and on manually. Have any of you ever heard of this issue? Is there possibly a fuse that is blown? I know that this wouldn't be a problem for most people. But I am so used to them just coming on when I start my car, It's going to drive me nuts. I'm also worried that this is possibly just a start of more issues to come. Any advice is appreciated. Thank you.
