Apologies in advance for posting in the wrong area (if I am). Basically I totaled my 06 Max two weeks ago, front end collision where I swerved to the right to avoid direct front impact with an X3. Nonetheless I hit a sweet spot on the car (where the headlight, front fender, bumper, and the hood all meet), and BAM... over $6K of damage. Car is gone, 149,000 miles, engine still runs, trans was in great shape.

if you are from the Tri-State Area, I am selling every single piece of the car before I bring it to the salvage yard. All I want is the tires since they are All Season Pirelli's with less than 5,000 miles on them. I just got a 2012 Maxima last week so I plan to just keep those tires as backup.

I managed to order and install LED Taillights on the car so those are for sale. The OEM Taillights are available but just the RH Side (since the LH cracked at some point). Let me know... PM whatever. Been a while since I've posted on here so if I gain interest, I will post pics ASAP.

 

btw ... I know the ABS Actuator is a big problem for alot of people with 6th Gen Maxs... myself included. This is a fairly new unit on the car (unsure the difficulty to take it off). Rear brakes in relatively good shape. So on and so on. I planned on riding this car to 250K + until this mishap. Full Synthetic Oil Changes every 5K miles kept it running like new.

@shaks - it's an automatic. 06 is the last year before cvt trans came out if I'm not mistaken - which on my 2012 is taking some getting used to

Can you split the Map/dome light assembly from the interior? I think color might matter though - so pics would be nice. It's for my friend's car, so I'd have him verify. He broke the lamp by mistake while trying to change a bulb.

What color is the interior? I need the little door/cover piece that goes over the power outlet hole on the passenger side. I can post a pic if you need me to.

 

My 2004 does not always start
on 1st try but always on 2nd turn of the
key so I'm thinking of replacing the fuel
pump. did you ever have that starting
issue and if not how much for your fuel
