So to give a description of my issue.

venting/tilting button and function works perfectly

opening slider is the issue
when trying to slide open it will cycle from closed to vent and vice versa.

i have done the reset procedure for the moonroof several times now.
make sure moonroof is closed and the press and hold the vent/tilt close button for 30 sec.

this is where i am not sure if i'm doing it right or wrong. is the slide position supposed to be in the open or closed position? does it matter? should the car be on? off?

is there anything else i can try before i send it in for service?

yes also i have checked fuse just for kicks...
