2007 Maxima Acceleration Problems

Hey guys, I am new to the thread. I have a 2007 Nissan Maxima with roughly 101K miles on it. I have recently been having issues with the acceleration at the beginning 10-15 mins of driving the car. I know its not a transmission issue since i took it to nissan and they replaced the transmission. The car doesnt make power like it used to and jerks and has a hard time getting to 40mph. After driving the car like this for the first 15 minutes or so everything seems to go back to normal. I have had the transmission and o2 sensors replaced and i have no check engine light on. I also had the abs, break, slip and vdc light on and then had a mechanic replace the abs module. The car still makes a weird sound when i am breaking and it only does it for a few minutes in the beginning of me driving the car. Nissan wants $2,000 and wont even guarantee me that they will be able to fix the problem. I am trying to get an idea of what the issue is so i can go about having it fixed. If anyone has had this problem or knows what it could be, please help me out. I am desperate.

it sounds like it could still be a trans issue. They probably used a rebuilt unit which could be defective. I wouldn't pay them any more money. Speak to the service mgr.
