I was at a red light and tc (traction control) was off and I got on it a little and it spun out so I got off and started to drive it normal for a second and realized the rpms were high like 4 or 5 grand so I slide the stick over to where you can shift yourself and it showed the car in 1st gear doing like 20mph... Why didn't the car correct itself even after it spun out? Does this make sense... Does it sound like tranny problems or just something stupid?

 

The reason it went to first was because it detected you were already at high RPM's, so translates to similar RPM going to sport mode.
