I have a 2006 Nissan Maxima SE, the problem happens with my car shifting pretty hard going from 2nd-3rd gear. I don't believe it to be a slip, just a pretty hard shift into third. More so, this only happens when my car cold, when she is warmed up, it shifts perfectly smooth.
What should I do?

Sounds like you need a new valve body installed in your transmission.

 

About how expensive is that?

 

I put one in mine last year,I live in ontario Can.mine cost $900 installed
