Sunroof not opening

Nothing happens when we move the lever toward the back. What could be the issue?

The reset procedure for the sunroof is to tilt the sunroof open then tilt it closed again. Once closed hold the tilt close button for 30 seconds. This resets the slide control. If your sunroof is stuck in the open position you can use the tilt open/close to wiggle it back to closed. Sometimes this takes a few tries before it will start working again, but be patient and you'll get it!

That worked, thanks!

Why did it need to be reset? Just wondering why this was even necessary.

You are correct! I had disconnected it to reset the SES light after a camshaft sensor repair.

Thanks!
