I have a 05 se that is showing every sign of a bad camshaft sensor, (delayed startup, stuck in 5 gear, rough idle, jerk when put in drive & reverse) only problem is the check engine light isn't on, so I'm not able to find a proper diagnosis. Any suggestions on where to go at this point?

 

Did you try YouTube or google?

 

If it is fail safe mode it would have to have code stored so scan it but sounds like a cam pos sensor
