Windows roll down on their own/ Doors locking and unlocking randomly (2005 Maxima)

I came out this morning to find my driver and passenger windows rolled down completely. Tried to research the problem and saw that many people had this problem with many solutions but nothing working so far. It's not the key fob. I removed the battery and problem still persists. I have removed the master switch and door panel to have better access to the inside and checked it out. Nothing obvious. When I plug the switch back in, the windows roll down and even up one of the times, and the door starts locking and unlocking and eventually stops. When I unlock the doors, it immediately relocks. I can hear clicking from near the interior fuse box but am unsure of where exactly. Guessing there's a relay or switch of some sort under there but can't see it. I'm guessing it's shorting or grounding out somewhere? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I do have a multimeter for testing if necessary. Thanks!

I had the same thing happen yesterday morning, driver's and passenger windows were both down, and I know, without doubt, they were up when I got out of the car the night before.

I had some of those symptoms too after changing to a new battery but I think the ECM had to go through a learning curve, and it eventually fixed itself.

Try changing the battery in your key-fob.
