I have this car since 2011. I've been taking care of it all these years. Last week, it starts to "act" funny. I took it to my mechanic and it ending up being a transmission problem. I took it to a second place (Nissan dealer) and they agreed. I'm not sure if I want to fix it since it is very expensive or selling it as savage. Any suggestions?

 

How many miles? I think Nissan was offering 120k miles and 10 years to all 6th gen CVT's. I'm going to guess you are well past that. My opinion, do a quick Edmunds or KBB on your car, 2008, depending on mileage options and conditions you may only be at $2500 value for the car. If the CVT replacement is $3000 or more, it's so not worth it. Trade it in. I got rid of my -07 in 2014 and all I got was $6000 tradin.
