I recently purchased an 04 Maxima SE and am having some difficulties determining if my vehicle came stock with halogen or HID. Whoever had this vehicle before me had one of each installed. Halogen on the passenger side and HID on the driver side. This is just one of the wonky things they did, but for now this is the primary issue I am focused on. I purchased two replacement assemblies and am looking to instal them both myself. Entire kit has both left and right assemblies, ballasts and harness to connect to the battery. I have tried browsing forums and researching what I need to do to install this successfully. Any pointers or help that can be offered are greatly appreciated. I will happily post pictures. All in all, I want to do this correctly and prevent any avoidable issues further down the line.

my 04 max sl has hid and im taking it to halogens. bulbs are 100 a piece and the ballast are a lot more for hids. and my low beams are brighter than my high beams so im gonna drop mine down to halogens. yea the bulbs wont last as long but 40 for a 2 pack compared for 2 for 200 says it all and I can get halogen assemblies for 250 on ebay for both
