Hi.
Have a 2004 Maxima that has developed a rattle mainly on startup when cold. Only happened once or twice at other tones and only rattles for around 5 - 10 seconds.
Im assuming it’s timing chain and upon reading elsewhere saying it may be as simple as bleeding the tensioner?
Im assuming it could also require replacement of the tensioner or the chain? Any advice on what it could be and approximate price to repair (in Sydney Australia).
I am booking in to a mechanic however there is a long wait in my area for anyone.
As it’s mainly when cold is there risk to continue short drives (to train station 5 min away)
