Oil cooler / aux trans cooler seal does not exist?

This is the pic my buddy told me to post. *edit* I've looked into this issue and it seems rare? I need a o ring/fitting for an aux trans oil cooler. It seems this part does not exist and people have gone to creating their own seal. My buddy drained the trans fluid, cleaned it all pretty good and used a sealant on the original Oring/fitting as something with an expensive transmission lift was the only alternative. Very frustrating, can someone shead some light?

The transmision cooler on my 08' SL (cvt) is in the radiator. Should be a send and a return coming out of the transmission and going into the bottom of the radiator. I'd probably replace the spring clamp with a worm gear clamp like the other line has and tighten them both more. Take off both hoses and see if there's a ridge for an o-ring to seat. If there is, just go buy a generic multi pack of o-rings. Follow the lines to the bottom of the radiator and see if thats where it's leaking from.

Here is a thread with some diagrams that might help.

best of luck
