Halogen to Hid

Halogen to Hid

I have an 04 Maxima with halogen headlights I want to know if I can change to the stock Hid lights is it plug and play?

You'll need to get the projector headlamps from another Maxima that came with hid's, or convert the reflector housing to hold the projector lens somehow. The halogen reflector housing won't focus the light correctly and will blind oncoming traffic.

What about the wiring would it be plug and play. Or do I have to rewire

If you buy an amazon/ebay hid kit, those are plug and play. They usually suck though. I believe you will have to modify the dust cover. At least that is how mine was when I got it. I ended up getting a pair of stock hid headlight assemblies and run oem ballasts and hid bulbs from retrofitsource
