I recently purchased a 07 Sl (my first nissan) that hasn't moved in years. It has been turned over and started from time to time so it runs but I'm looking to see what typically needs attention with these cars before I put it on jackstands and try to make this a daily for my child. I know I'll be replacing the steering pump and basic tune up items but looking for insight to save headaches.

what makes you think the power steering pump needs doing?
beyond the standard servicing stuff to tick off get the servicing history and do the spark plugs and transmission service if needed.
If you cant work out if the servicing has been done, at least do the transmission service and if it seems to start or run anything but smoothly then do the spark plugs too.
