Mijn maxima uit 2004 hebben al een tijdje een probleem, nu elke 150 mijl of zo lucht uit de radiator moet worden afgelaten, heeft iemand anders dit probleem? Mijn vader (vorige eigenaar) heeft onlangs een 06 gekregen die hetzelfde probleem lijkt te hebben. We hadden de indruk dat het een zeldzaam probleem was, maar aangezien we het allebei hebben, vroeg ik me af of iemand anders dat ook deed.

​​​​​You must have done some work on the cooling system. Air is trapped inside the engine. Thats why its not cooling properly. You need to let the air out of the system.

Raise the front of the car 30-50 cm.

Then remove the radiator cap. The engine should be cold or cool as you do that.

Start the engine. Let it warm up to operating temperature. Blip the gas pedal a few times.

Let the car continue to run perhaps half an hour. Blip the gas pedal from time to time.


The section you posted in is for 1989 to 1994 Maxima. You should post in the 5th generation section.

I own a 4th generation 1996 maxima. I was looking in the third generation section .

I noticed your post written in Nederlands. I was born there long ago before my parents and I immigrated to the USA.
