4" custom intake

Is the depth of the mass airflow sensor in the pipe critical?i put together a custom air intake and it runs like **** with it.

You need to tune the fueling since the maf is calibrated for a much smaller cross section.

Ok i figured as much. i am getting a tune very soon.i can put it on before and the dyno/tune shop will be able to calibrate it.is that correct?

Put it on at the dyno/tune shop. Do not drive with it. Call ahead and make sure they can do what you want.
