???more info please. no one can help with the description you gave us. like when did it start have you taken it in for any routine maintenance before it started smoking. yes anything can catch fire if its smoking from behind the engine. since i mean that is all your asking rite. will your car catch fire, yes it will catch fire. you need to give a better detailed description, also stop making threads because no one is answering you. only reason they haven't is because they cant help with the description you are giving.

Well i aplogize for the multiple threads so everything was fine i went on a trip hit a deer not bad i thought only messed up my hood and bumper minimum damage anyways then took another 3 hour trip. When i pulled back up to my home it was dark and the smoke looked like a steam instead of smoke the next day i look under the hood coolant is leaking and smoke is coming from behind the engine fixed the coolant leak and let the car run for a hour it stopped smoking that day now its still smoking but nothing is leaking and it was never running hot two different ppl have said it could be two different things one said gasket seal another said heater core im new to this and i see smoke i think fire im taking the car to the mechanic today and im scared to drive it its been sitting now for three weeks since i hit the deer i crank it to make sure the battery doesn't go dead but it smokes almost immediately with a burning smell

it could very well be the gasket or the heater core. its good that you are taking it in honestly, i would not drive it for sure since it a lot worse now when you turn it on and it starts smoking with a burning smell.

lol. take a couple drops of oil from your dipstick, burn it on your stove and check to see if it smells the same as the burning smell from the car, if yes, it's oil, if not its probably hoses or wiring. coz if its been three weeks since the accident, your car would smell like a dead rotting rat from about 10 feet away if it was burning deer blood. and if it does smell like burning oil, don't be afraid to drive it coz its really hard to get oil to catch fire and cause major damage. don't be a new-age dumbass. go drive to the mechanic with a gallon of water and you'll be fine. btw, your name suggests that you are a woman (but idk for a fact coz we live in a world where there are 38 billion genders) and its great to see more women getting into cars. good luck with your repair bill.

omg im stressed out i needed that laugh fr i am a woman and thanks for your advice and i definitely strive not to be a new or old dumbass lol i did drive it to the mechanic this morning waiting to see what he will say when i moved it it did have a couple of oil spots where it was im hoping it's something simple because i just put some money in this car got it for a great deal 152,000 miles compared to kbb so i felt it was worth it brand new brakes rotors. a wheel barren and two oil changes already and ive only had it since march which was about 7-8 hundred by it's self then u hit this effin deer lol not to mention it probably needs a tune up and it caught on fire when i first got it because it was change in the sensor box behind the screen lol which youtube says is a common problem man that scared me but other than that i love this car and hope this problem is fixable and affordable because i feel like when i finish with it its gonna be a brand new car lol I've looked on carparts for hoods and bumpers that will run about $170 any suggestions on anywhere else to look and why the heck are these headlights so expensive

if you are gonna buy a new hood, bumper and headlights you might as well do a 2008 facelift. the 2008 model looks better in my opinion.

theres a brand new bumper for 110 bucks and a used hood for 150 bucks on ebay. aftermarket grille for around 50 or OEM for about 100. So far, about 300 bucks, but the headlights are gonna f#ck ur wallet. 210 for both. so after 510 bucks plus the cost of paint, your car becomes 2 years younger and isn't f#cky lookin. lemme know if you need the links for the listings if you're interested in the facelift or can't find anything cheaper. cheers.
