PLS HELP! Valve body Replacement

Ok, so my car had the typical valve body issues. Kick into drive and reverse when warm. hard 2-3 shift and some banging along with delayed/bang downshift. The codes I got were P0780 Shift malfunction. I order a cheap VB and put that in. the car would drive but wouldn't shift past 2nd gear accompanied by a whining noise (sounds like power steering fluid pump when low)
So I took that one out sent it back and reinstalled my old one. The same original problems came back so I went ahead and ordered a more expensive reputable remanufactured valve body installed this new(reman) valve body and the whining noise is back and the car will drive for about 2 minutes before the whining goes away and then it just neutralizes. it won't move and just revs. Shut the car off wait a while and you can drive again for the 2 minutes. Now could this be because the valve body needs to be flashed and reprogrammed? I get mixed answers as some people say its plug and play and some say it needs to be flashed. Even Nissan people are giving me mixed answers. I'm also thinking maybe I just need to go OEM valve body instead of going reman which is obviously the cheaper route and the option I already chose. I'll take any input into consideration, but I am taking it to Nissan on the 22nd to get diagnosed.

Thanks
