Hey guys, I’m looking to make an example of a real carbon fiber steering wheel for 6th generation Maximus but the problem is I don’t know what actual owners would want. I want to make something that someone would actually buy. Is there anyone here who would actually want a completely custom steering wheel or do you know what shape, style, colors would be the most popular among other owners?

Yeah, that’s what I’m trying to do but I don’t know what style owner’s would want and what colors to use. Are you an owner who would actually buy it for your car? What design would you want and what colors?

I'm sure people would be interested. I am. Use your own creative expression. Make what you would want. Then go from there based on people's feedback. I'm not sure what you have in mind exactly, as I have worked with carbon fiber cloth for different projects in the past. It's tedious, time-consuming, expensive, and requires many processes. Not sure you'd be able to keep it at a price point people would want to pay. This is truly bespoke territory, one of a kind, custom stuff. It sounds like a ton of work to me, but have at it. Making one or two might be fun.

They look cool, but I'm not a fan of CF steering wheels. They have a tendency to get really hot in the sun.

Do you want a custom wheel with any shape, any colors and any combination of smooth leather, perforated leather, and or alcantara?
