I purchased a 2007 Maxima with 86000. It's a great car and faster than I thought it would be. After I bought it I realized the speedometer wasn't working.
I don't have a check engine light and the car drives and shifts as it should and no pings or knocks but I do need tie rods and new tires.
Do I need a new vss? Or maybe a speedometer fuse?

I'd suggest you check the ABS fuse instead.
