Wiring issue?

Wiring issue?

Back with another dilemma, so been trying to address this issue with the washer fluid pump ive been having ive tested connector got 12 volts. switch is fine pump is new,(pulled the trigger and bought new) now, when the connector is plugged into the pump, voltage disappears if disconnected, I have 12 volts at connector.

Confirm you have an effective ground as well. The circuit need to be closed.
