I ordered a crankshaft position sensor from Hitachi and they sent me a straight sensor that isnt angled, with CPS0006 written on it but the car still gives p0335 code and stuck in 5th gear. The only sensor i can get to work is the old one but it only works for about 5 minutes. Did i get a wrong part? I thought that all crank sensors for this car were angled? Its a 2006, 3.5. I think this is a cam sensor....

On Rockauto the CPS0006 is the only one listed to fit both transmissions and is the OE part. The rest are either auto and angled or manual and straight.

The one they sent me is straight and doesnt work at all. I have a 5 speed AT. Guess its for manual trans. Ok, well thanks for the help, i appreciate you guys.

With due respect, you’re not confusing the “crank” position sensor with “cam” position sensor are you?
