Help please with MAF wire colors

Hi Im new here. I was hoping someone knew the Order of the MAF sensor wires on the connector? The colors are 2 black, green and yellow, purple and yellow, and red and green. Someone cut off the connector b4 I got the car so I'm lost. And when I start my car the rpms go all the way up and don't come down unless I hit the gas pedal...most of the time if I hit the gas it will just die!!!!.I'm hoping this might fix it if anyone know the correct order on a 2005 maxima 3.5l sl....thankyou

Although I’m not a 6th Gen owner, I’d venture a wild guess that your issue is not related to the MAF sensor, in that, again, as I’d imagine, any change/mix-up/foul-up in the harness connector wiring would generate a DTC, which you’ve not indicated is present.

I don't own a 6th gen, so I can't help you. I'd refer to the Factory Service Manual (FSM). Free to download. See my signature. There are electrical diagrams with wire colors for everything.

If no one responds, go to your nearest junkyard and find your car. Or find your car at a used car dealer and politely ask them to pop the hood so you can look at the colors of the wires.

You have five wires, while I have only four. You're gonna have to track down a 6.0 Gen.
