P0744 code(torque converter clutch), which is the only code I have now. Is there any hope? Car drives great until around 50 MPH and then engine just revs up. When I put it in manual mode, same thing. By doing it in manual mode I was able to tell that 4th gear is the end, as it wont acknowledge 5th or 6th. Car has 190k miles on it and has been serviced regularly with drain/fills. Fluid color and levels are fine. I’m going to have it looked at soon, but wanted to get insights from the pro’s here and the best course of action. I’ve read a good bit in here and have found that even when CVT parts are replaced, it’s just a soon ticking time bomb.
